Hello 2025…

Wow, 2024 was such an exciting year, and it definitely took me away from this little corner of the internet for a bit! But I’m back and super excited to jump into 2025 with a fresh post and hopefully a bunch more to share!

First up, I got married in October! 🎉 Planning our wedding was quite an adventure, and we did so much ourselves. It was a blast, but wow, it really took a lot of time and effort! On top of that, I finally finished the first draft of my novel! I poured so much of my writing energy into that while juggling my full-time job as a copywriter, posting on Bookstagram, and getting everything ready for the big day. 😅

Now that things have settled down, I’m really looking forward to updating my website, brainstorming new blog ideas, and sharing all the good stuff I’m reading and working on!

Reading: Right now, I’m almost done with You and Me on Vacation by Emily Henry. I’ve seen some folks call this their least favorite of hers, but honestly, I can’t figure out why—it's fantastic! I’m also listening to The God of the Woods by Liz Moore on audio. I finally took the plunge into audiobooks, and wow, it’s way faster than reading, but I’ll always be a physical book girl at heart! So far, it’s super intriguing, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me!

WIP: As I mentioned, I wrapped up the first draft of my big project and have been diving into editing and filling in the gaps over the past few months. It can be a bit tedious, but I’m learning so much along the way! I’m also working on two other WIPs to keep those creative juices flowing!
